I got asked to work with Tyler on his new YouTube channel. He had some great ideas in mind and after the first video I told him; "I know you are going to blow up, you have the perfect personality for this".I gave him a video study of one of his competitors in the niche and focused heavily on teaching him some story-telling and retention techniques.
Before
As this was a newly started channel, and his first proper YouTube channel EVER. I knew I had to help him with all things YouTube as well as take care of the editing.
After
The 5TH video blew up and got him over 90k+ views in just a few days. This video alone got him monetized.

After helping out with Vegas's Dark and Darker videos back in 2023, he reached out to me to help with his upcoming Deadlock content when the game had been "announced".
The second video I made for him got 51,000+ views and after that we have gotten multiple outliers. I am currently(10-19-2024) in the works of re-working our approach and strategy to make the content more oriented around his skill rather than "content edits". The first video after re-thinking strategy was a 3.4x outlier(33,000 views) and with a few more of those I am certain I can find a winning formula for his channel, both editing wise and packaging wise.
Before
He wasn't posting much after our Dark and Darker era together, which was also very successful. These numbers are for the 3 months before he asked me to tag along as his Youtube editor and manager for his Deadlock content, which still shows a pretty good success story already.
After
We've already had immense success with a lot of the videos but my overall goal has always been for the channels to be very profitable(obviously.)
Therefore, I still felt like the channel needed a bit of a re-work since every video wasn't getting 30k views, you can still see the massive growth we have done together in the past 3 months.(10-18-2024)

Video editor, minor YouTube/retention advice
After helping BoBlox with strategy for another channel back in 2023, he reached out to me to work on his new Roblox channel late 2024. At this point, he had already posted 6 videos to get himself pushed out on YouTube a little bit before reaching out and the very first video I edited for him ended up being a 54x outlier with over 124,000 views(12-10-2024). We continued working together and in just a few weeks we ended up getting his channel monetizedBoBlox is an amazing entertainer and I knew this as soon as I got the first piece of content from him. His ability to press record and entertain is that of a top tier live-streamer, truly inspirational to see as someone who has also pursued streaming in the past.
Before
BoBlox had posted 6 videos prior to contacting me, some of them did pretty good going from 3k, 13k and 5k views . I knew that we could get better numbers with some better pacing, hooks and intros. BoBlox's ideas overall have been pretty good but I quickly introduced him to the importance of stakes and how even a simple thing such as adding a time-limit to challenges does wonders to keep viewer retention.
After
The first video I edited, we implemented stakes and a time-limit immediately and I truly believe it is one of the big reasons the video did so well. The idea is also really good and has been a great outlier within Roblox prior to this. We continued to work on videos and finally got him monetized in a few weeks. Now that he's monetized, he is focusing more on GREAT video ideas rather than pumping out content, which I also think is key to longevity of a YouTube channel -- I am excited to keep working with BoBlox on his channel and can't wait to see all of the outliers we'll be uploading in the near future!
